Magnolia Terrace is the jewel of Maple Lawn and is ideal for any outdoor occasion. The garden is surrounded by full blooming Magnolia trees from May through July and hold their greenery all year. Lights are strung around the perimeter of the garden as well as directly above the brick aisle. Down the center of the lawn area, are two gorgeous multi-tiered fountains cradled by plush grass and ends under a elegant archway.
The canopy covered patio is where the party happens! This area is suitable for a DJ or live band and dance area. The patio area is where the full service outdoor bar is located along with a prep-kitchen for catering. Should your caterer need more space, there is a full size industrial kitchen available inside the mansion. Restrooms are conveniently located within the patio area.
Our prices are based on the amount of guests that will attend your event. Prices are also based on events that take place Friday – Sunday. Discounts may apply to events held on weekdays.

Policies and Procedures
San Rafael City Noise Ordinance requires that all amplified music be turned off at 10:00 pm. If 10:00 is too early for your party to end, please ask about renting the Drake Bar inside the mansion for an after party.
The ABC liquor license that we carry requires us to handle all items related to the bar. This means that the purchase of alcohol must come through us and that you must use our bar staff. A beverage agreement can be handled a million different ways and it is ideal for a client to sit down with our beverage manager to discuss your budget and expectations. Please expect to have the current sales tax and a 20% service charge added to your total beverage bill.
INSURANCE: All Clients shall name B.P.O.E. San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 as additional insured for an amount of $1 Million on their liability policy for dates of usage. Liability insurance can easily be obtained through your homeowners or renters insurance. It can also be purchased through most insurance companies. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Contract & Payment
Desired dates are only held once a rental agreement has been signed and a deposit has been collected. The deposit amount due is $1,000 and goes towards the total rental price; we accept cash, check or credit card.
The entire amount of your rental package as well as your beverage contract is due in full no later then two weeks prior to the date of your event.
