Policies and Procedures
Noise Ordinance/After Party Overtime
San Rafael , CA City Noise Ordinance requires that all music must be turned off at 10:00 pm. If 10:00 pm is too early for your party to end, the Drake Bar inside the mansion can be rented for a flat fee of $800. Please ask the liaison for more details. Package prices are based on an eight hour event, two hours for set-up and one hour breakdown. Overtime charges will be applied at time of contract signing.
Liquor License
The ABC liquor license that we carry requires us to handle all items related to the bar. This means that the purchase of alcohol must come through us and that you must use our bar staff. A beverage agreement can be handled a variety of ways and it is ideal for a client to sit down with our beverage manager to discuss a budget and expectations. Please expect to have local sales tax and a 20% service charge added to your total beverage bill.
Liability Insurance
INSURANCE: All Clients shall name B.P.O.E. San Rafael Elks Lodge #1108 as additional insured for an amount of $1 Million on their liability policy for dates of usage. Liability insurance can easily be obtained through your homeowners or renters insurance. It can also be purchased through most insurance companies. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Security Deposit
We will collect a minimum of $500 security deposit up to $1,000. This is refundable after the event if there are no damages to the property.
Contract & Payment
Desired dates are reserved once a rental agreement has been signed and a $1000 Event deposit has been collected to reserve the date. This Event deposit is non-refundable and gets applied toward the total rental package.
The entire amount of your rental package as well as your beverage agreement is due in full no later then four weeks prior to the date of your event.
