We were looking for a local venue to celebrate his fortieth birthday bash, and the Terrace at the Maple Lawn was the perfect place. It is a magical spot mixed with San Rafael history. Great place to host a party. The staff is accommodating; historic charm is priceless!!!! It has all the amenities, centrally located, and plenty of parking. The night ended in the infamous, time-warp Elks Bar…so much fun."

When Jessica walked into the Magnolia Terrace area, she looked at me and said, “Mom, why don’t we move the wedding here. It’s beautiful!” Located in the historic mansion, the bridal changing room is large and accommodating. The mansion has character only time can create and little surprises, like a pool table in an old card room where the groomsmen can congregate before the ceremony.
The ceremony was outdoors on the Magnolia Terrace and had dining space for our 160 guests. The DJ played, and we danced under the white canopy. The bartenders were professional and friendly. Everyone had a great time. To keep the wedding party and their friends together a bit longer, we rented the indoor bar for an afterparty. We could not have been more pleased."
